Processing of your data
According to Article 4 of the GDPR, “‘personal data’ means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.”
Legal basis for the processing of personal data
Insofar as we obtain the consent of the data subject for the processing of personal data, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR serves as the legal basis for the processing.
If the processing of personal data serves to fulfill a legal obligation, we process your data in accordance with Art. 6(1)© GDPR.
If the processing is necessary for the undertaking of a task which is in the public interest or in the exercising of the public authority vested in the Philipps-Universität Marburg, Art. 6(1)(e) GDPR serves as the legal basis.
